This Cancellation Policy explains the circumstances in which an order may be cancelled. It forms part of and should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Shipping Policy, Return & Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and all other policies published on our website.
At Koushiki Lifestyle Private Limited, every order is individually reserved, inspected, verified, processed, and prepared for dispatch promptly after successful payment has been received. Accordingly, once an order has been confirmed following successful payment, it is final and cannot be cancelled except as expressly provided in this Cancellation Policy. Customers are requested to carefully review all order details before completing their purchase.
Nothing in this Cancellation Policy limits or excludes any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
1. Customer Cancellations
Once payment has been successfully received and an order has been confirmed, the order cannot be cancelled by the customer.
No cancellation request shall be accepted after payment has been completed, except where:

Cancellation is otherwise required under applicable law.
2. Cancellation by Koushiki Lifestyle Private Limited
Koushiki Lifestyle Private Limited reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order, in whole or in part, before dispatch, including, without limitation, the following circumstances:

Payment cannot be successfully authorised, verified, or completed.

Fraud prevention, identity verification, or security checks fail or raise reasonable concerns.

Koushiki Lifestyle Private Limited reasonably suspects fraudulent, unlawful, unauthorised, abusive, or suspicious activity.

The customer fails to provide information reasonably requested to verify the order, payment, identity, delivery address, or compliance with applicable law.

The ordered product becomes unavailable due to inventory discrepancies, supplier constraints, inventory synchronisation errors, or any other reason beyond our reasonable control.

Errors are identified in pricing, product descriptions, inventory records, product images, website content, or other information published on our website.

During our final quality inspection, the product is found to be damaged, defective, or otherwise unsuitable for dispatch.

Fulfilment of the order is prevented by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, floods, fires, earthquakes, pandemics, epidemics, government actions, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labour disputes, transportation disruptions, supplier failures, power outages, internet outages, cyber incidents, system failures, or any other force majeure event.

Fulfilment of the order would result in a breach of applicable law, regulatory requirements, or obligations imposed by payment service providers, financial institutions, courier partners, or governmental authorities.

Fulfilment of the order becomes impossible, unlawful, or commercially impracticable.
3. Refunds
Where Koushiki Lifestyle Private Limited cancels an order after payment has been received:

Approved refunds will generally be initiated within 5–7 business days after the cancellation is confirmed.

Refunds will ordinarily be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase.

The time required for the refunded amount to appear in the customer's account depends on the relevant bank, payment gateway, card issuer, or financial institution.
Refunds shall be made without interest.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Koushiki Lifestyle Private Limited's total liability arising out of or relating to the cancellation of an order shall not exceed the total amount actually paid by the customer for that order.
Subject to applicable law, where an order is cancelled by Koushiki Lifestyle Private Limited under this Cancellation Policy, the refund of the amount actually paid by the customer shall constitute the customer's sole and exclusive remedy arising out of or relating to such cancellation.
Except to the extent required by applicable law, Koushiki Lifestyle Private Limited, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, representatives, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or similar damages. This includes, without limitation, any loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings, or any other economic or consequential loss arising out of or relating to the cancellation of an order.
4. Failed or Duplicate Payments
Orders for which payment is unsuccessful will not be confirmed, processed, or dispatched until successful payment has been received.
If duplicate payment is received due to a technical, banking, or payment gateway error, the excess amount received will be refunded after appropriate verification.
5. Changes to this Cancellation Policy
Koushiki Lifestyle Private Limited reserves the right to amend, modify, or update this Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice. Any revised version shall become effective immediately upon publication on our website unless otherwise required by applicable law.
